You’ve stumbled, bruised, and you’re looking for that light at the end of your tunnel. Life has been hard, and you feel like you can’t keep going. Healing isn't just about being whole again; it's also about making peace with where you are right now.

Have you ever felt like you were in a deep well? Every time you try to climb out, you slip back down. That’s the struggle of healing—feeling stuck and wondering if there is any way up at all. But just as Harriet Tubman walked through the darkness of slavery to freedom, you can find your own path towards healing.

Tubman faced unimaginable hardships, yet her story teaches us about resilience. She didn’t stay in her predicament; she found a way out and helped others do the same. Resilience isn’t just about enduring pain but finding a way through it. You too can find strength within yourself to move forward, even when everything feels heavy.

Sometimes, healing means understanding that you are enough where you are right now. It’s okay to be broken because each crack tells a story of your resilience. Just as a butterfly must break free from its cocoon to fly, so do we need to break out of our shells to find the beauty in our transformation. Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up; it means acknowledging that you are enough and ready for what’s next.

Practical truth? It starts with one step. You don’t have to know how far the journey is or where exactly it will take you. Just focus on putting one foot in front of the other, because every step counts. When the path seems unclear, remember this: even when Harriet Tubman couldn’t see her way out, she took the first step towards freedom.

Forward-looking encouragement? Embrace the process. Healing is a journey, and each day brings new opportunities to grow and change. It’s okay if progress feels slow; it will be worth it in the end. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, support you, and remind you of your strength.

So here’s what I want you to do: take that first step today. No matter how small or insignificant it seems, it matters because every step brings you closer to healing. And as you walk, allow yourself to feel the pain but also the hope that lies ahead. You are strong and capable of finding your way through this.
